With their perfect location in the village and the truly exceptional panoramas they offer, Gorgones Studios promise a charming and comfortable sojourn in Kardamili. This is where you can wake up in the morning, open the shutters and enjoy picture-postcard views of the village harbour… where at dusk you can sip chilled ouzos and watch gorgeous sunsets from your private balcony… where at night you can fall asleep to the sweet lull of gentle waves without ever having to leave terra firma… and where you can step out and find cafés, tavernas, shops and services practically on your doorstep, without ever having to use a vehicle or, indeed, walk very far. Situated just above a tiny cove that holds a wisp of beach, Gorgones is like a small ship moored ashore: the crystal-green sea here is only metres away and, with their high vantage point, these studios proffer impeccable vistas of the lovely Limanaki and Meropi island on your left, of Kardamili Bay on your right, and of clear waters directly below that stretch, endless and ever placid, into the distant horizon…
There are 4 high-quality, modern-style studios to choose from: all have their own bedroom/living area with fully-equipped open-plan kitchenette, shower-room (with sink and WC), air-conditioning and TV; their interior décor is contemporary, with fixtures and furniture finished in cherry wood and floors done in marble. 3 of these studios are smaller and hence perfect for couples: each have twin beds (placed side by side) and a private balcony with chairs and table; the 1 slightly larger studio is suitable for couples/small families: this has a double bedroom/living area with extra twin beds collocated in a separate bedroom; its furnished terrace features a beautiful, small garden. Tastefully-decorated and very cosy, Gorgones has all the contemporary amenities you expect, plus more… If you love waking up in the morning and going straight for a swim in the warm Mediterranean, this is the ideal place: there is a small beach and jetty with ultra-clear waters just a few steps below your private balcony.
Commissioned and managed by Maria and Roulis Haralambeas, requests for Gorgones from passers-by are always numerous. The studios are in effect literally right round the corner from the restaurant (we checked out the noise levels: these rooms are perfectly peaceful). All 4 studios are kitted out with their own air-conditioning, TV, cooker and fridge, assuring you of complete autonomy and convenience. The atmosphere of romanticism that these studios exude is quite extraordinary, and their close proximity to the sea renders them all the more attractive and unique. Recommended for guests who like special places.
