Welcome to Kardamili, a small, historic village in the Messinian Mani, and welcome to Maison Viros, a small group of traditionally-built holiday lodgings that were launched in 2007. Maison Viros enjoys an exquisite position in our beautiful village: located right by the Viros river—just a short stroll from the charming main street, a stone’s throw away from the mystical old town, and a mere 250 m from the spectacular Ritsa Beach—our distinguished collection of lodgings offer an enchanting and relaxing permanence in Kardamili. The views here are splendid: our florid forecourt and gardens boast wonderful vistas of Kardamili’s old chapel and and ruins, as well as of the misty-blue heights of the Taygetos and the verdant valleys of the Mani, and our luxurious guestrooms feature lovely sea views and magnificent sunsets. Maison Viros comprises of 4 furnished residences that have been built with great consideration for the particular aesthetics of Mani architecture, and their integration with the surrounding environment is particularly harmonious. Our objective is to offer our guests the possibility of enjoying a unique holiday in an ambience which is comfortable and homey. Studios: fully-furnished living room with fireplace and 2 sofa beds, fully-equipped kitchen with washing-machine, WC, and dining area, double bedroom with full bathroom, furnished private veranda. Maisonettes: fully-furnished living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, fully-equipped kitchen with washing-machine, WC, and dining area, 2 double bedrooms with full bathroom, furnished private veranda and 2 balconies with views of the surrounding countryside, the old town, and the sea. All lodgings feature air-conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi connection. Cleaning service every 3rd day, with change of bed sheets and bath towels.
Particular importance has been given to the Maison’s surrounding grounds. Each lodge has its own garden with flowers and aromatic plants that are indigenous to our region. And, with further great sensitivity for the environment, we have safeguarded all the trees that had grown on the original plot of land: olives, almonds, orange, and fig trees—some of which are extremely old and very precious. Our establishment also features an elegant and large freshwater swimming-pool, tiled lawns, and raised forecourts, giving guests the possibility to enjoy their coffees, to read theirs books, to play with their children, or to watch marvellous sunsets in total luxury. The village beaches, and those further afield, are all easily accessible from our location, and the trekking enthusiast will find that some of the most beautiful walks begin right at the estuary of Viros, which is very close by (management will be more than happy to show you the way). The spacious main forecourt has plenty of enclosed private parking, and you will find shops, supermarkets and other services just around the corner.
