OVERVIEW
Porto Kalamitsi is situated few minutes from the centre of Kardamili and just 300 m from Kalamitsi Beach, a uniquely beautiful, small and quiet beach with small pebbles, surrounded by lush greenery. This is the area in which the renowned writer Patrick Leigh Fermor settled and spent the last years of his life.
Our houses, built of stone and wood, surrounded by 14 acres of olive trees, blend harmonically with nature, and are ideal for a tranquil escape.
A vision dating back to 1987 that continues to this day with on-going upgrades of our accommodations and addition of new ones. The second generation of the family follows the tradition of providing hospitality and highlighting the gastronomy of Mani.
Born and raised in Mani, owner-managers Stavroula and Dimitris Hotanineas took their first business steps promoting the cuisine of Mani and later expanded into hospitality. In a supporting and advisory role now, they have proudly handed over the running of the business to the next generation.
