The most notable geological marvels in Mani are Foneas Beach and Katafigi Cave, both well worth the mere 15-minute drive it takes to go and visit them from Kardamili.

In Laconia, the most notable natural wonders are the Diros Caves. These caverns are a true spectacle, with intricate stalactite and stalagmite formations that have taken shape over millions of years. Exploring them is like navigating into another world, as one floats along underground rivers.

And no visit to the Mani would be complete without a trip to the ancient mythological Gates of Hades: the dramatic topologies of Cape Matapan.
