Summer Music Festival in Pyrgos

The Summer Music Festival presents a yearly cycle of engaging musical performances presented in a magical setting: a stone amphitheatre in a Mediterranean villa, high up in the foothills of Pyrgos, which features breathtaking panoramas and sunsets.

Inaugurated in 2011, the Festival combines local folk culture with classical and contemporary international musical creation. It has hosted dozens of reknowned musicians from Greece and abroad, and it is attended by hundreds of spectators from all over the world. Co-organised by the Mani Sonnenlink Bio-Guesthouse and the Bläuel Greek Organic Products cooperative enterprise. Artistic director of the Festival is Burgi Bläuel.

With a focus on providing an extraordinarily beautiful, special and unique platform for artistic expression, the Summer Music Festival harbours and promotes a new cultural community growing around the south-eastern Mediterranean—educated, environmentally-conscious, travelled, aesthetic.

Celebrated musicians worldwide have the opportunity to present their work at an institution dedicated to different genres.

The goal is to provide a showcase where artists interact with one another through musical partnerships and educational activities, meeting with a wide audience, and creating a network to include both the local community, as well as an ever-growing aficionado from other regions of Greece and abroad.
