Villa Eleni is a two-storey house which offers 3 large bedrooms each of which contain a double bed. The second floor contains an open concept living-dining area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with shower. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and comfortable living room has two sofas, TV and stereo. There is a fireplace for those cold nights. The bedroom has a balcony with panoramic views. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Access between floors can be done by an internal and an external staircase. Villa Eleni has central heating and cooling, Wi-Fi internet access and ample parking space. The front of the villa there is adorned with olive trees and a beautiful garden. Villa Eleni is ideal for those cold winter days where guests can relax while listening to music, reading in a cozy corner and enjoying a drink and company by the fireplace. |

The Villa Eleni is located in the village Proastio near Kardamyli. Proastio which is 5 km away from Kardamili. (7 minutes by car), 41 km from Kalamata (41 minutes by car) and 51 km from Kalamata Airport (51 minutes by car). Proastio is one of the oldest and most important settlements of the region. It is located at an altitude of 230 meters on the slopes of Taygetos and has a wonderful climate. It is filled with approximately 40 Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches and temples, with exquisite paintings and symbols, monastic In addition, some 200 year old buildings have survived with special construction features from the region. These are pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary arcaded houses whose careful construction is due to the quarries of the area which have surface layers of limestone. In the local quarries where the limestone has been mined a ancient Mycenaean tomb is present. At the entrance of the village you find a large Fountain of Melissenos which dates back to 1643. |
