The village of Kardamili lies nestled in a valley of olive groves, right next to the sea. Following traditional building techniques, Katsouleas Villas is comprised of 2 individual stone houses that blend harmoniously with the local architecture and the rugged landscape that is so very characteristic of the Mani. These residences are situated at two different levels, 50 m from the shoreline. On the ground floor, each residence offers a spacious living room with a fireplace, an open-plan kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom. From the living room, a staircase leads to the upper floor where a spacious double bedroom features balconies with splendid sea views. Both houses have large verandas on split levels. Overall, each house has 2 double bedrooms (with a double bed and 2 single beds respectively), 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Each can accommodate up to 4 or even 5 guests very comfortably. Additionally, the houses come with electric oven, refridgerator, air-conditioning (in the bedrooms), cooking utensils, dining table, sofa, TV, WIFI Internet, washing machine, bathroom sets and garden furniture. |

There are plenty of beaches in the Mani. Ritsa beach is highly recommended for its crytal-clear waters. Along the way to Stoupa, you will also come across Kalamitsi, a small beach with sand and pebbles and, further on, the spectacular beach of Foneas with its impressive huge rock. Further on, Delfinia beach offers acquamarine waters with dark soft gravel, reminiscent of Santorini. For a wilder kind of beauty, you can visit the Katafigio, just beyond Aghios Nikolaos. Katafigio is an area comprised of big, steep, square-like pieces of rock which emerge from the sea and look like they have been chiselled by some imaginary giant. Its deep waters are ideal for diving. Geologically, there are many caves that can be accessed either by sea or land, and it is said that some of them might be linked to the famous Diros Caves found further afield in southern Mani. A livelier atmosphere can be enjoyed at Kalogria, a beach with white sand and tropical waters. Here you can find beach bars and restaurants that are open all day. |
